Issues

  • Support economic measures that put American workers and businesses back at the forefront of our economy to create family-sustaining careers and true wealth for our nation
  • Fight to protect and strengthen these Medicare and Social Security for all of our seniors
  • Fighting for a health care system that works for everyone, increases access and competition, and lowers the cost of prescription drugs
  • Supported tort reform to drive down the cost of health care, the repeal the bureaucratic Independent Payment Advisory Boards established by Obamacare
  • Find the compromise that both secures our borders and protects our Dreamers. To support one without the other is to support neither
  • Dedicated to growing our economy through workforce training and development
  • Congress can and must do more to combat climate change and rebuild our crumbling infrastructure
  • LGBTQ Americans are part of the fabric of our society and should be free to exercise the rights guaranteed to every American by the Constitution

Issues

  • I support H.R. 3755, the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would federally codify Roe v. Wade
  • Enact policies to fight climate change and turn this threat into jobs and investment all across Pennsylvania.
  • We need to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025.
  • Support initiatives for pay equity, universal preschool, and affordable childcare for all.
  • Cost of college needs to be significantly reduced to make it more accessible to students who want to attend a two or four year institution.
  • We need greater oversight of the charter school system.
  • Fully support the second amendment and the rights of citizens to securely keep arms for self-defense, recreation, and hunting. Support Universal Background Checks to ensure that those purchasing firearms do not pose a risk to themselves or others in our community
  • We need to overturn Citizens United and quell the unlimited, untraceable spending on elections from special interest groups and millionaires.
  • Protecting the right to vote and access to free and fair elections is essential to the health of our democracy, which is why I support the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
  • Believe that protections for Dreamers and DACA recipients should be codified in federal law
