Pittsburgh Public Works, responsible for checking President Obama’s route from the Pittsburgh International airport to the National Robotics Engineering Center did more today than merely secure the area: they helped a stranded reporter.

Unfortunately, the owner of that overheated Pontiac Sunfire blocking the Bigelow Boulevard intersection is none other than myself.

Many thanks to Assistant Public Works Director Kevin Quigley, who kindly escorted me out of the President’s way and delivered me to his speech in Lawrenceville.
