The Full 2014 PA Society List of Events

Waldorf-Astoria
Waldorf Astoria

It’s that time of year, politicos: Pennsylvania Society! Here’s a rundown of the events at the weekend-long marathon of dinners and cocktails.

The annual celebration brings together political, civic and business leaders from across Pennsylvania and across the aisle.

The biggest stories to watch in midtown Manhattan this year are who will serve in the Wolf Administration and the maneuverings of potential Democratic Senate candidates in 2016.

Here are the weekend’s events. See you in NYC!

  1. Isn’t it nice that the taxpayers support our wonderful leaders in New York. Isn’t Pennsylvania noted for good fare and cocktails?
Boy, we treat those who serve us li

    very graciously.
Here’s to the people od Pennsylvania. No wonder we are having our TAXES raised.
    The pocketbook is empty.

  2. So it seems Castille just accused Kane of leaking secret grand jury info…by leaking secret grand jury info. Only in PA!

  3. Was anyone at Corbetts speech? I heard they gave out lapel pins and official Team Corbett cyanide pills.

  4. Word on the street at PA Society is that Seven Points Consulting is splitting up. Evidently the WS Group and the Fleck consulting boys aren’t playing nice together.

  5. PA Society of New York is a fantastic weekend! While the dinner is a bit dry the receptions are fantastic. Great for networking and meeting new friends. I look forward to it every year. See you there!

  6. It’s just sad that our politicians can’t even see the wisdom in supporting the Commonwealth and our economy. What kind of message does it send…clearly they do not care. I understand and appreciate traditions but there are lots of traditions that change and evolve over time.

  7. This is where our government is sold. It’s like a flea market of politicians, but with better food and a dress code.

  8. This is just a stupid event where a bunch rich people convene and discuss why their excrement doesn’t stink.

  9. Marcellus Shale Coalition Reception
9:00 p.m.- ?? (until the final palm is greased)
“Big Yellow Taxi Room”, The W New York, 541 Lexington Ave
Dancing- Bar- Desserts – Drilling -Gas-venting (No clean-up) – Black Oil-stained Tie Preferred

  10. I wish all these “honorees” would move to NYC and then we could privatize our legislature. THAT would be news, this is not. Yawn.
