The Full 2019 PA Society List of Events

Before we say good-bye to 2019, it’s time to say hello to Pennsylvania Society!

Here’s a rundown of the events at the weekend-long marathon of dinners and cocktails in New York City.

The Waldorf Astoria is still undergoing renovations, so the main action will be at the Midtown Hilton. This year’s honoree is University of Pennsylvania President Dr. Amy Gutmann.

Unfortunately, the PoliticsPA Governor Mifflin Society Reception will not be held this year while renovations proceed.

The chatter this weekend is expected to revolve around the recent elections last month, while also looking forward to the abundant crucial races in the state in 2020.

Here is the list of events for the weekend. All events should be considered by invitation only unless otherwise noted. If I missed any, please email me at John@PoliticsPA.com.

  1. I’ve always wondered why the PA Society events could not be held in, you know, Pennsylvania. I assume it’s because there are no nice hotels, restaurants or clubs in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh…

  2. Sen. Ryan Aument having a Society reception makes you wonder what he’s running for. Isn’t he just a good old Lancaster guy? Rubbing shoulders with the elites.

  3. Lots of events for sure. I noticed a new one or so. I guess itself is Saturday night. Hilton is a good location near theater district and hotels and Port Authority.
