Toomey Receives Endorsement from the Governor of Puerto Rico Today
 
Allentown – U.S. Senate candidate and former small business owner Pat Toomey received an endorsement of his campaign today from the governor of Puerto Rico, Governor Luis Fortuno, at Tierra Colombiana Restaurant in Philadelphia.

“Pat Toomey’s message of lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, and reducing the size of government is resonating with voters across the state and I’m proud to support his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.  We need more honest, principled leaders like Pat who are unafraid to do what’s right,” said Governor Luis Fortuno.

“I’m honored to receive Governor Fortuno’s endorsement,” Pat Toomey said.  “His record of cutting taxes, reducing the size of government and curbing wasteful spending is exactly the kind of policies we need to get our economy back on track.  In contrast, my opponent, Joe Sestak, has supported massive deficits, hundreds of billions of dollars in tax increases, government-run health care, and more government burdens, all of which have prevented us from achieving the economic recovery Pennsylvanians deserve.”
