Trump Records Endorsement Call for Barletta

President Donald Trump is helping make the final push for Congressman Lou Barletta’s Senate bid by recording an endorsement call ahead of the primary.

According to Politico Trump recorded the two minute call for Republican primary voters that is scheduled to launch today.

“Tuesday is Election Day, and I need you to go out and vote for my good friend, Lou Barletta, a very special guy,” Trump says in the call.

Trump touts Barletta’s early support of his run for President saying “It took courage for Lou to do that, and I’ll never forget it.”

Trump also spoke to Barletta’s immigration stances and the tax reform bill.

“Like me, Lou Barletta is strong on the wall, tough on immigration and has already cut your taxes. He was with us all the way. If you, like all of the others, want to keep it going this way, go out and vote for Lou,” Trump said according to the Associated Press.

Barletta is running against state Rep. Jim Christiana in Tuesday’s primary.

  1. Barletta doesn’t really have any competition for this, right? He will get crushed by Casey in November. Casey always seems to get an easy draw – Santorum, Smith and now Barletta. No reason to even campaign.

    1. Let’s be real. Smith and Barletta are not even close to comparable.

    1. Calling Barletta a lunatic or dangerous is blasphemous. He is a little right leaning for my liking, but to even question his character for a second is laughable. He’s a good man and would do a good job as a Senator given the opportunity.
