Trump Talks About Divide with Toomey (VIDEO)

Donald Trump says he is fine with Pat Toomey’s reluctance to embrace him.

During his stop in Philadelphia on Friday, Trump spoke to 6abc’s Matt O’Donnell. One of O’Donnell’s questions concerned Toomey’s attempts to distance himself from Trump.

“I’m worried about my race,” Trump responded. “Pat Toomey, obviously he wants to be out there by himself, and that’s fine.”

O’Donnell also asked the presidential nominee about his assertion last month that he could only lose PA in November “if in certain sections of the state, they cheat”. The ABC anchor queried Trump on why a candidate who is leading would feel the need to cheat.

“Well, it’s obvious,” Trump shot back. “They want to make sure they win, wouldn’t you think so? I mean, give me a break.”

Finally, O’Donnell got the attention of national reporters when he asked Trump whether the candidate regrets peddling the conspiracy theory that Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United State.

“You don’t talk about the birth certificate anymore,” O’Donnell inquired. “Do you regret even bringing it up?”

“I don’t talk about it anymore,” Trump stated. “I told you, I don’t talk about it anymore.”

  1. Yep. Hillary going to DC (as in Washington. Trump going to DC (as in Department of Corrections). Hope he dies in prison.

  2. That was fantastic: a $25,000 donation that they tried to cover up by fudging the paper trail and looks to anyone with half a brain like a bribe is “trivial”. It’s mindblowing. I have to think there are going to be a bunch of indictments as soon as the election is over. This isn’t the only questionably legal practice that has come to light.

  3. Trump has no answer for his past behavior. So questions about it are “off the table”. Rudy will be out to explain that later today.
