Gov. Tom Wolf has joined several other Democratic governors in the region in calling for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign from office following an investigation that found Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women.
“We are appalled at the findings of the independent investigation by the New York Attorney General. Governor Cuomo should resign from office,” said Wolf and New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, and Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee in a joint statement issued on Tuesday evening.
President Joe Biden also joined other Democrats on Tuesday calling for Cuomo’s resignation, following the report from New York Attorney General Letitia James into Cuomo’s sexual harassment.
Wolf worked with Cuomo and other Governors in the region in 2020 on a joint task force in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
