Wolf Vetoes Mastriano Poll Watcher Bill

Tom Wolf

Governor Tom Wolf vetoed a bill sponsored by GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano that would allow election poll workers to serve in any election district in the Commonwealth.

Wolf wrote that “this bill makes it possible for bad faith partisan operatives to target a specific neighborhood or group of voters in an attempt to challenge the eligibility of voters, make poll workers’ jobs more difficult, and disrupt the counting of ballots. This will only serve to slow down the election process and restrict access to the ballot box.”

The bill was designed so poll watchers could clearly observe the pre-canvassing and counting of all ballots. This includes having clear line of sight to observe the process within six feet or less.

Under the bill, candidates from all political parties could also increase the number of eligible poll watchers at a precinct from two watchers to three watchers.

  1. Ding Dong Doug is an Insurrectionist. The fact that he is even permitted to draft legislation is a stain on our Commonwealth.

Arrest Ding Dong Doug immediately, kick him out of the PA Senate and remove his name from the fall ballot.

  2. Poll watchers are voter intimidation and undermine the integrity of our voter system. Really?

    1. The D’s have done everything humanly possible to undermine the belief in elections. January 6th isn’t a surprise to me at all.

  3. Poll watchers are voter intimidation and undermine the integrity of our voter system. This is Orwellian.

  4. Doug Mastriano doesn’t even want legitimately cast votes to count if his preferred candidates don’t win. F*ck him.

Looking forward to DOJ arresting, prosecuting, and imprisoning him for his seditious acts around Jan 6th… including, but not limited to, his part in the conspiracy to submit fake electors. His signature on a forged document presented as a official record is sufficient evidence of his crimes.
