Fizzano Cannon, Ceisler Win Commonwealth Court Seats

PA-Judicial-Center-1Republican Judge Christine Fizzano Cannon and Democratic Judge Ellen Ceisler won the two open seats on the Commonwealth Court.

With almost 98% of precincts reporting in, Ceisler is over 26,000 votes ahead of the closest challenger.  

Fizzano Cannon was the top vote getter as of writing with 25.85% of the vote, followed by Ceisler with 25.61%.  

The results of one Republican and one Democrat means the Commonwealth Court will remain a 7-2 Republican majority.

    I never knew much about this court, but it seems as if there was more advertising on this race than the other courts. I found that interesting.

    I think Judge Fizzano-Cannon is a great choice. I worked with her years ago as she started out and she never has forgotten her roots. Well Done!
