Today, Congressman Bill Shuster (R-Blair) announced his campaign staff for re-election in 2014.

Many of them have already been an integral part of our strategy, and their combined experience will present a formidable resource for our campaign as it begins to move forward,” said Shuster.
Ray Zaborney- General Consultant, Red Maverick Media
Zaborney is a veteran Pennsylvanian political consultant having managed and strategized on races at the local, state, and federal level. Ray was the campaign manager for the 2004 Shuster campaign, and has served as a senior advisor ever since. Ray has been named by Campaigns and Elections as one of the top influencers in Pennsylvania politics and advising clients across the country.
Sean Joyce- Campaign Manager
Joyce returns to manage his third cycle for the Shuster campaign and will oversee day-to-day operations in addition to all press communications for the campaign. An Altoona native, Sean is a long-time Shuster aide having previously served in several roles including Communications Director, Senior Legislative Assistant, and Military Legislative Assistant.
Casey Contres- Political Director
Prior to joining the campaign – Contres, a Northern Cambria Native and graduate of IUP, Contres managed a state senate campaign in Erie and worked in Congressman Tim Murphy’s press office in Washington DC.
Sean McCort- Field Director
McCort comes to the Shuster campaign from Ken Cuccinelli for Governor. In addition to having a M.A. in Public History & Policy his experience includes working in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
Kristen Alcalde- Executive Assistant and Scheduler
Alcalde, a recent Penn State University graduate where she was a cheerleader and helped manage her teams THON fundraising goals.
Jen Holman Zaborney- Fundraiser
Jen has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s top fundraisers. In addition to Congressman Shuster, Jen has raised money for Governor Tom Corbett, Senator Jake Corman, Senator Joe Scarnati, and numerous members of the Pennsylvania State House and Senate. Prior to starting her fundraising business, Jen served as executive and finance director of the Senate Republican Campaign Committee in Harrisburg.
Shuster faces a primary challenge from Tea Party conservative Art Halvorson.
