Rick Santorum a Hit With the Ladies

By Jared Edgerton, Contributing Writer

As some presidential hopefuls continue to struggle with outreach to the fairer sex (*cough* Herman Cain), Pennsylvania’s own Rick Santorum is getting along swimmingly with the GOP’s leading women.

“If voters start shifting gears and deciding they want ideological consistency, then they’re going to start paying attention to say, Rick Santorum,” 2008 VP candidate Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity on Fox News Thursday night.

Santorum’s campaign circulated the comments in an email to supporters. And Palin isn’t the only Republican starlet to praise Santorum this week. Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann said the former Senator might have a place on her ticket.

On Fox News Wednesday morning, Bachmann told Greta van Susteren she would consider asking Santorum to serve as Vice President or Attorney General if she wins the general election.

“I think that Rick Santorum is a wonderful man personally, but also, I think that he’s very gifted when it comes to the area of legal issues.”

Bachmann also listed Senator Marco Rubio (FL), Senator Jim DeMint (SC), and Donald Trump as other possible running mates.

This week Santorum also picked up an endorsement from former New Hampshire gubernatorial candidate and ex-Bachman supporter Karen Testerman.

“He is the one candidate who is casting a vision for America beyond eight years. Not only does Rick Santorum’s record match his rhetoric, I am confident that he is the one who is ready to lead America to greatness.”

Santorum is currently polling around one percent in the Granite State.

“my rugs don’t have that much fringe” hahahahaha what the fck does that mean
    hahahahahahahahaha

Yes, a hit with the ladies who want to be used as broodmares and sperm receptacles. He’s a hideous man who would set civil rights back a hundred years or more.

  3. Tina Edwards says:

The title of this article is not going to draw support for Santorum. It’s a subtle but not clever attack on Mr. Cain. Santorum’s an outstanding individual but let’s face it folks, he’s not going to win anything. He’s not even relevant in this race.

  4. May Thomas says:

Seriously, it’s time for him and Bachmann to drop out. They’re good candidates but they’re not going to progress in this race. Santorum would make a good cabinet member.

  5. Judy Brown says:

Santorum isn’t running for President. He’s running for the VP slot. We in PA remember he lost big in 2006. He doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the White House.

  6. Rob Roberts says:

Rick Santorum is a hit with the ladies? Is this headline some sort of a sick joke?

I hope none of these “ladies” include anyone who has been raped or had incest committed against them — Rick Santorum would not allow them to terminate the pregnancy under any circumstance.

Santorum’s bigoted agenda for America includes extreme anti-gay rhetoric — he would actually outlaw gay sex — and how he proposes to enforce this proposition is interesting to say the least — perhaps he will install himself in every gay couple’s bedroom, a task he would no doubt enjoy.

Santorum is a sad little man, and his 1% rating in the polls confirms that he and his agenda has been rejected vy the vast majority of Americans.

I think Bachmann is a joke. I hope she loses her House seat after this shit show of a campaign.

Santorum on the other hand, is not a fringe candidate, and I think he deserves a lot more credit for his work in the Senate. I think the Bush years made it very unpopular for social conservatives in the GOP, but if he was given a chance back in the Senate, he would make a good leader.

I’m sorry, but the thought of Bachmann lining up her VP choices is too freak’n funny.
And then look at the choices. My Rugs dont have that much fringe.
