Governor-elect Tom Corbett has reached across state lines for his latest cabinet pick. He’s selected 51-year-old Eli Avila of Suffolk County, New York as Secretary of Health. Avila also teaches at St. John’s University Law School.
He’s the first non-Pennsylvanian Corbett has named to his cabinet.
