In his best fundraising quarter yet, Callahan outraises Congressman Dent … again

Dent has now taken a career total of over $2 million in Corporate PAC contributions

BETHLEHEM, PA. – On Friday night, the final fundraising quarterly reports were released and Mayor John Callahan outraised Congressman Dent again. In his best fundraising quarter ever, Callahan raised $419,062 compared to Dent’s $393,620 – about half of Dent’s money came from PACs. Dent has now taken over $2 million in Corporate PAC contributions. Callahan and Dent also ended the quarter with virtually the same cash on hand total.

“The support we’ve received from all over the Lehigh Valley has given our campaign the momentum heading into the final two weeks of this election,” said Mayor John Callahan. “Congressman Dent has taken over $2 million from Corporate PACs and he continues to represent their interests, but I’m working to represent the Lehigh Valley. This election is about a choice and I’m confident that folks in the Valley will reject Congressman Dent’s failed record of voting to increase debt by $3 trillion and bailing out Wall Street.”
