MicrophonesEvery Friday afternoon, we provide a preview of the various Sunday morning political talk shows that are filmed and broadcast throughout the commonwealth.

Our hope is to alert readers to the important interviews and insights that each show in their region offers.

We’re just starting out and our hope is this feature will grow with time. So, if there is a program you’d like to recommend or, better yet, you work for a program not yet featured here send us a message (sysnyder@politicspa.com) and we’ll try to include it.

We’re talking to John Goodwin, the Director of Animal Cruelty Policy for the Humane Society of the United States. We’re talking about several bills right now in the state legislature aimed at protecting animals including a proposed ban on pigeon shoots in the state. Our Insiders then dive right into the Mayor’s race today discussing Lynne Abraham’s fainting spell, Kenney’s recent endorsement by African-American politicians, Williams and a fundraising fine he must pay along with Doug Oliver’s quote on race. They also touch on the cop from South Carolina who has been charged with murder and will Governor Wolf’s budget make it through the legislature.
