PA-state-flag6-14The Ups & Downs from the week, and Trump comes to Harrisburg.  Good morning politicos, here’s the Playbook!

4/28 Ups & Downs: Soros put money into the Philadelphia DA race, Sims calls a troll’s grandmother, Gym wins the Gabrielle Giffords Rising Star Award, and liquor privatization picks up some steam. See who made this week’s Ups & Downs!

State House Sound Bites: Trump attacks media in defiant Pennsylvania speech: President Donald Trump held a rally in Harrisburg for his hundredth day in office, fresh off a frustrating week in Washington. After pushes to resuscitate the House GOP’s healthcare bill and pass a spending plan for the year, neither got much traction. A government shutdown was averted for at least a week. But nevertheless, it was a defiant Trump who arrived at the Farm Show Complex, and an enthusiastic crowd that embraced him.

Patriot News: What Trump said about Pennsylvania, the wall and coal: Highlights from HarrisburgPresident Donald Trump spent his 100th day in office rallying his base. He returned Saturday evening to the capital city of Pennsylvania, a state credited multiple times with paving his path to the White House. The president spent much of his one-hour speech talking about the issues that helped him breeze through the Republican primary in Pennsylvania and become the first Republican to the win the state in a general election since 1988.
