Don’t forget to check back for the Ups & Downs!

Sebelius Returns to Philly to Tout Obamacare: The HHS Secretary will visit a healthcare facility next week. She’s undoubtedly hoping that this event will go better than the first time she attempted to advocate for the health care law in Philadelphia.

Corbett Flubs SC Vacation Home Disclosure: The Governor failed to disclose the home, which he bought last year, in his yearly financial disclosure report. It’s required by a 1984 executive order.

PA-12: With Critz Out, McClelland Staffs Up: One day after Mark Critz announced he would run for Lt. Governor, Rothfus challenger Erin McClelland unveiled her team of campaign staff and consultants.

PA-13: Sims, Hoeffel Back Leach: Three more Pennsylvania politicians are backing Daylin Leach’s bid, including former Congressman Joe Hoeffel and State Rep. Brian Sims.

PA-13: Philly Council Prez Backs Boyle: Philadelphia City Council President Darrell Clarke endorses Brendan Boyle in the PA-13 race.

2 Indy Candidates for Harrisburg Mayor Tossed From Ballot: Independent challengers Nevin Mindlin and Nathaniel Curtis were both removed from the ballot today in Harrisburg’s Mayoral election.

Legislative election update:

HD-117: Rep. Karen Boback (R-Luzerne) won by 64 points in 2010. She went unopposed in 2012. But she’ll have a challenger in 2014: Wyoming County Auditor Laura Dickson. Dickson, 58, previously worked for a pharmacy services company. “I decided to run based on the conversations I’ve had with people across the district and their dissatisfaction with our current representation in Harrisburg,” she said. Her focus would be “promoting economic development through education, infrastructure rehabilitation, and development of new ‘green’ industries.”
