Addis Calls Out Opponents Over Trump Tweet

Paul-AddisBusinessman Paul Addis is continuing to message himself as the anti-Trump candidate, and is pushing for his primary opponents to take a position on President Trump’s latest Twitter scandal.

Trump sent out two tweets this morning attacking MSNBC ‘Morning Joe’ co-host Mika Brzezinski.

Addis took to Twitter, quoting a tweet from South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham attacking Trump’s tweet, and asking if his opponents businessman Jeff Bartos and state Representative Rick Saccone (R-Allegheny) agreed with the tweet.

Graham was not the only GOP member of Congress to speak out against the tweet.

“Obviously I don’t see that as an appropriate comment. What we’re trying to do around here is improve the tone, the civility of the debate. And this obviously doesn’t help do that,” U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan said.

Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with Trump.

PoliticsPA reached out to both Bartos’ and Saccone’s campaigns for comment.

  1. Addis shouldn’t waste his time running for this position.

    He has self-destructed.

  2. TheRump is now damaging the GOP brand. It is not tolerated. A tide turning is coming and the man-boy POTUS will no one but himself to blame. He may end up less effective than any POTUS who has had all three branches of govt seen up. We’ll see.

    1. The GOP brand of controlled opposition and letting the left have its way as much as possible in the name of respectability?

When you lose your community to purple-haired genderblobs and illegal immigrants I hope your 5-second pat on the back from the left feels real good

  3. I agree with Pittsburgh. The tweet is childish and absurd.

But if Addis thinks he’s going to win the Republican nomination by bashing Trump, he must know something I don’t.
