Christiana Jumps into U.S. Senate Race

1165State Representative Jim Christiana (R-Beaver) is entering the race to challenge incumbent Senator Bob Casey.

“The same reason I ran for the state House, the same reason I ran for borough council is the same reason I’m running for U.S. Senate and that’s a frustration of watching the same politicians for over a decade popping their head up at election time making excuses for why they haven’t solved our greatest challenges,” Christiana said during his announcement, according to the Beaver County Times.

Christiana quickly sent out an email to supporters announcing the news as well, and began his messaging against Casey.

“Senator Casey – who is a nice man – is part of this problem. He has a great last name, but he’s not delivered or led independently,” the email said.

According to his official website, this is Christiana’s fifth and final term in the State House.  Christiana touts the passage of PENNWATCH which allows citizens to check government spending online.

Christiana is third candidate, and second western Pennsylvania State House member to jump into the race.  State Representative Rick Saccone (R-Allegheny) announced earlier this year, and Andrew Shecktor who was a Trump Delegate to the RNC last year announced as well.

  1. Isn’t it funny how these “I will term limit myself” guys actually jump around and run for a different political office. I serve 10 years as a state rep but now I need something else to move onto and accomplish nothing. I believe the real idea of the term limiting was that you serve only a few years in political office then go back to private industry. Toomey has the same disease.

  2. This is not good. He did not get permission for this from the Capo. Saccone did. There will be hell to pay.

  3. Guy sold used cars for a hot second and has been a career politician ever since. Has no life experience but yet makes big boy decisions.
He is Easily one of the most arrogant people out there. He loves to play “king maker” in Beaver County, and disrupt County politics by getting involved.
I was at one of his events several years back and he said he vowed to not make politics his career. Looks like he lied… SHOCKER!
I wonder now that the judge won’t allow any of Nick Trimbettas documents to be sealed if Ole’ Boy Wonder’s name will pop up?

  4. Jimmy is delusional. The charter school mafia has bankrolled and owns Little Jimmy. My advice – go back to selling cars.
