  1. Well, the first opponent who worries about Ms. Johns-Williams can always refer voters to this . Or direct them to this page where voters can learn that “Lady Monique is the daughter of Pastor George and Sharon Williams From Mitchellville, MD. Lady Monique served with her father at the Miracle Station in Wilmington, Delaware. Lady Monique currently serves as the First Lady and Co-founder of Heavens Gate Bible Fellowship in Newark, DE. She is a visionary with a strong desire to uplift, inspire, and motivate women to achieve spiritual fulfillment. Lady Monique believes that your destiny and purpose is tied to an unwavering focus on the things of God. Her motivational scripture comes from Psalms 37:4-5: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give Thee the Desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and He Shall bring it to pass.. My conclusion: If Delaware is going to have candidates come out of the woodwork, it should invest in better woodwork.

  3. By Larry NagengastSpecial to Delaware Business Times Paul McConnell believes that education and economic development are inextricably interconnected. So it’s only natural that the Delaware real estate entrepreneur, whose firm manages Hercules Plaza in downtown Wilmington, would find space in the building for an innovative pilot program that enables high school students to create their own entrepreneurial projects and receive expert guidance to carry them out. “Cities and states where education and economic development are connected are the ones that are flourishing,” but it’s not happening yet in Delaware, McConnell said.

  4. UGH. No. All she does is act like she saved Chester. Delco Dems all want to send us a white savior. I’m shocked Jerry endorsed this lady and her whiny crap. It’s like a race of how many entitled white ladies the Dems can recruit before the end of petitions.

    1. Chester was decades ago. Educate yourself on what she has done for veterans, for POC, for immigrants, for harshly sentenced (jim crow) prisoners, for trans folk, for women athletes, and many more. This woman does social justice on a petsonal, local, state, and national level. She uses her privilege for good and worked her butt off doing it for 35 years.

  5. I will be supporting the incumbent Patrick Meehan for reelection by writing his name in on the ballot even though I don’t live in Pennsylvania
