Peters Enters Race for PA-11

Former Federal prosecutor Joe Peters announced he is officially entering the race to replace Congressman Lou Barletta, who is running for Senate.

In a video announcing his bid, Peters said that he is “built for this job.”

Peters has been considering the idea of running for the seat since early this fall when he held a listening tour of the district.

In 2016 Peters ran in the Republican primary against the party endorsed candidate state Sen. John Rafferty.

In October former Columbia County Republican Party Chair Bill Toth sent a letter to Republican party members in the 11th district attacking Peters for endorsing Democratic Attorney General candidate Josh Shapiro in the race.

You can view Peters’ video below.

  1. I worry about Joe’s mental health. Why would he even think this was a good idea? If he gets 1,000 signatures in the 11th I’ll buy everyone that comments on this post dinner at Twigs

    1. Andrew kicked in like one zillion billion million doors on one mission all by himself. He’s the toughest guy in the history of the entire US military…according to his campaign manager. #childrambo

  2. A little long but I thought this trailer looked awesome. I cannot wait to see this movie. Did anyone catch when it is hitting theaters?

  3. Is he running as an R or a D? Only ask because he endorsed super liberal, pro abortion, anti gun D Josh Shapiro for AG after he lost the R primary to Rafferty.
