Last week, Governor Tom Corbett released his Medicaid expansion plan. Instead of applying the federal funds offered in the Affordable Care Act directly to Medicaid costs, Gov. Corbett decided on another idea.
Under his proposal, the state would accept the funds but would use them to provide beneficiaries with private insurance rather than adding more people to the Medicaid program.
The Governor’s decision prompted criticism from both the right and the left. Progressives were angry that uninsured citizens would not be able to join Medicaid while conservatives resented Corbett accepting any funds from Obamacare.
So, we asked readers what they thought of Gov. Corbett’s plan. Out of 339 total votes, 213 of you thought the idea was “too conservative”. 77 people felt the plan was “just right” while only 49 people thought it was “too liberal”.

There comes a time in a person’s life when you get a call to action. I’ve decided to commence writing a political expose on the Corbett Administration. I am not sure whether it will be straight forward prose or a roman a clef in the style of PRIMARY COLORS. My book will be published as an Ebook under the pseudonym JACK BURDEN. I will ask and GOD WILLING answer many questions: 1. Why does Brabender continue to have so influence much in Pennsylvania? 2. Was the poll mathematically correct? Seems many polls are not based on a 50|50% of Dems & Republicans. If 64% of respondents were Dems then the results mean nothing.

I think it is so very heart-warming that Acting Governor Brabender is so pleased about the NCAA decision to ease sanctions on Penn State football. Our Loudon County, Virginia acting Governor is so concerned about education in PA (especially Cyber Charter Schools) and the Centre County economy. All this tells us is that liberals like to participate in polls more than conservatives. (Or it could have something do to with literacy since reading is now seen as an outrageous infringement on liberty.)
