Reader Poll: Is Domestic or Foreign Policy More Important to You?

In that spirit, we want to learn a little more about how our readers make their electoral decisions.

While we love statewide politics of course, there is no more important vote one makes than the one for President.

As a result, this week’s poll focuses on what issues motivate you in the presidential contest.

Specifically, is it domestic policy issues like the economy, education and the environment that is most important or rather foreign policy issues like war, terrorism and international relations?

  1. This is not a very scientific poll! I do not see how you can separate these two policies. They are equally important.

  2. I don’t consider the environment to be a “domestic issue”. I see it and other matters to be intertwined. I think that as with personal issues, it’s important to take care of internal issues and often that solves external ones.
