Peduto Pushes for Background Checks, Red Flag Laws in DC Visit: The Mayor of Pittsburgh met with a bipartisan group of mayors and Sen. Pat Toomey in an effort to gain support for gun control legislation.

Vice President Pence Pays Tribute at Flight 93 Memorial: Pence and other speakers hailed those on Flight 93 as heroes.

Rendell Calls Warren a “Hypocrite” in WaPo Op-Ed: Former PA Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell wrote an opinion piece for the Washington Post saying that he “likes Elizabeth Warren,” but accused the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful of being a “hypocrite” over campaign fundraising.
