After a series of web videos, Tom Wolf has a new television ad entitled “Manufacturing.”
“Here in York, Pennsylvania we’ve built the largest distributor of kitchen cabinets in the nation,” Wolf proudly states in the ad. “We’ve got American-made products that are beating out Chinese imports.
“So I know that Pennsylvania can be a leader in manufacturing, and we can make things again, but we have to invest in education and a skilled workforce today.”
The ad focuses on Wolf’s business smarts and his belief in the importance of increasing the funding for public education. But most important, Wolf ends the ad by stating he is prepared to rebuild Pennsylvania.
“I’m Tom Wolf and I have a plan,” he says. “We can do great things, but we have to think ahead.”
The ad will air on both state broadcast and cable networks.
Although Wolf’s ad buys have garnered a ton a news coverage, he is not the only one taking advantage of television anymore. Tom Corbett’s re-election commercials will begin airing today on both broadcast and cable stations, and the buy totaled almost $280,000.
Democratic candidate Rob McCord is also now on the air, while Katie McGinty has released a new 30-second ad as well.
As of today, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz and former Auditor General Jack Wagner are the only remaining Democratic candidates who have yet to mount a television ad campaign.

Dear Mr Wolf,I have seen your ads on TV about your successful cabinet company.I am proud that there is a company like yours & it’s employees. Currently I am an unemployed grandmother, raising 2 grandchildren.Everyday I spent hours looking for work on the internet,also I volunteer at a non profit office for people looking for work,and also I volunteer at my granddaughter’s Head Start school. As a former office manager,I am asking for HELP from your company.I bought my 1st home at the age of 47 by myself. I am now 51yrs young and would ask if you have any discontinued stock of any cabinets to replace my old and falling apart present cabinetry? My home is a row home in Philadelphia PA. It is a small kitchen that has 14 varies kinds of cabinets ,ex a cabinet of 4 drawers,under the sink cabinet,(2) corner cabinets, and others that are falling apart.Not even a paint job let alone I can not afford to do such work.I am also closely checking out your run for governor, for I am tired of Mr Corbett’s ignorance of many issues that need to be addressed in our state.
