  2. Disinterested Consultant says:

My guy is great and yours sucks. Because I said so.

  3. Chuckie Porter the rat says:

My cousin Greg Zappala needs a job and he has a few business interests in Luzerne County.Hr could run from New Jersey. It’s not against the law.

  4. Moose says:

Dan Meuser is a good hard working man who has proven himself as a business man family man and a true friend of Pa. He served the state as Secratary of Revenue and continued to be active in the states politics to this date. Good luck Dan your a winner!

    1. Luzerne GOPer says:

Except Dan has been playing both sides. How can we replace Lou Barletta with a squish like Meuser? We need an actual conservative, don’t even care which at this point but an actual conservative and not another Charlie Dent.

      1. The Real 99% says:

How has he played both sides? He give 99% of his donations to Republicans?

  5. A little concerned says:

Not sure if that’s just a bad picture, but Meuser’s head looks crazy big in that picture…

      It’s to hold knowledge.

  6. Tellingitlikeitis says:

Andrew Lewis must be unemployed and spending his day just continually voting for himself.

    1. Al Jakorsky says:

The guy who runs a small business while simultaneously serving in the National Guard? That makes sense. I’m sure you’re right. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      1. Tellingitlikeitis says:

Yeah, because I’m sure there’s this huge groundswell of folks who want a little known, already lost a Primary Andrew Lewis to be the GOP nominee over other candidates who are actually well-established.

        1. Reallytellingitlikeitis says:

At least Bloom and Toohil have won races before. Meuser got smoked in a congressional .

          1. Al Jakorsky says:

            ^^^

          2. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

In 2007. I understand your point, but that was before he made the Department of Revenue in PA the most improved Revenue department in the country under Corbett.

  7. sonnyD says:

Barletta will need a strong KKK turnout to be competitive.

    1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

You are part of the problem.

      1. Isaac L. says:

The Keystone United knuckleheads–er– skinheads and their ilk are the problem. They’re hard to miss at the Trump rallies; they’re the ones that look like skinheads and neo-nazis. It would be nice if Trump would follow Bob Dole’s example and tell them he doesn’t want their support and to get the hell out, but clearly he doesn’t believe that. Given that polling has repeatedly demonstrated that Trump’s strongest supporters are also the most motivated by racial animus, I suppose nobody should be surprised.

        1. Jack in the Box says:

Democrats are filled with nothing but HATE HATE and more HATE

  8. Brett Heffner says:

If these are the only four candidates who run, Bloom will almost certainly win, since the other three are from Luzerne County and will fragment the NE vote too much.

    1. Callin balls and strikes says:

Brett, you might want to check your facts here.

  9. Robert Strongjaw says:

Isn’t Meuser running for Lt. Governor? Seems like a slimy opportunist candidate who doesn’t even care about us.

    1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

An opportunist with an amazing fiscal record, held high office in PA, and has a great record as a business owner. We call that a political candidate.

  10. abc says:

None of them. GOP is party of Nazis and white supremacists. Anyone politician with an R next to their name are traitors, pieces of shit, and can go to hell.

    1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

You are part of the problem.

  11. Nina says:

Federal law allows ANYONE to run, regardless of where they live. PLEASE draft Rep. Kate Klunk to run. She is an intelligent, forceful advocate for her constituents. She also dresses well.

In her absence, I support Rep. Mindy Fee. She has nice hair.

  12. Not a pollster says:

Is Dan Meuser trying to rig this online poll right now? Saw it on the sidebar and he was at 4% then clicked the link after reading one other article and he’s pushing 20%. #FakeNews

  13. Abouttime says:

I hope rep toohil runs. There isn’t a single woman in the pa congressional delegation. We could be proud of the work she would do.

    1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

She is very well qualified and has been Barletta’s main surrogate over the past couple of years. She is what I would consider the “rightful heir”

  14. Chuckie Porter the rat says:

    Zakery Bissell

  15. Hazelton Lifer says:

I’ve voted for Lou more times than I can count becuase he represents what’s best about our district. That’s why I’m supporting Andrew Lewis now, he gets it. Good luck Andrew!

    1. Rick Santorum Jr. Jr. says:

More times than you could count? He’s been on the ballot like 20 times at most.(including Congress and Mayor runs both general and primary)

Lou voters can’t count very high…

      1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

        Hazleton skools

  16. Dan Carlisle says:

Isn’t Meuser a Democrat??? He hires illegal immigrants and hangs around with Charlie Rangel. No way we can go from Lou Barletta to Dan Meuser.

  17. gulag Pittsburgh says:

Why isn’t David Duke on the list?

    1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

Hate is hate by any means gulag.

  18. Nick Fazio says:

I know he’s not on the list but I think Aaron Kaufer would be a good pick.

    1. ERIEVOTER says:

      Doesn’t live in that district.

      1. jdubs says:

He does, and should be considered.

    2. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

He is a good candidate I agree. A little young. Give him a little while.

  19. Zakrey Bissell says:

I think for Dan Meuser should run for congress because i will support him and he will win both the primary and the general election in 2018 by my support.

  20. Luzerne GOPer says:

Anyone but Meuser. The dude cuts checks to Democrats left and right. Hillary, Charlie Rangel, the list goes on.

    1. EvilBobCaseyIV says:

In the early 2000s..also supported plenty of Republicans, actually, wayyyyy more republicans than dems.

      1. Luzerne GOPer says:

You mean within the past two years… his business supports the most flaming liberal Democrats in the entire country beyond just his personal donations… and it’s a family business. NO excuse for that.
