Pennsylvania is a blue state. At least for presidential elections it is.
The Democratic party has won the Keystone State in six straight presidential contests.
Yet the commonwealth is represented by 13 Republicans and just five Democrats in the House of Representatives. This discrepancy hasn’t been lost on the Dems.
For several cycles now, PA has been a prime target for the DCCC. Hopes were high last summer that the party could win the open race in PA-6 and/or unseat Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick in PA-8.
It appears, though, that those dreams will have to be deferred. Several political forecasters feel the races are no longer competitive and the DCCC has pulled out.
Still, Democrats believe an impressive performance by Wolf could have significant coattails.
So, we ask you our readers, will Democrats win either race in November?
Will Democrats win the PA-6 and/or PA-8 congressional races?
- No, they'll lose both (73%)
- Yes, they'll win both (17%)
- Yes, they'll win PA-6 (5%)
- Yes, they'll win PA-8 (5%)

Don’t forget Brendan Phillips is still in denial.
The PA Department of State has certified Mike Fitzpatrick as the winner in the 8th Congressional District of PA.
Who are the 23% of people who think the Dems will pick up a House seat? Or is just David Diano and Kevin Strouse voting over and over?
